ELITE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED FA/UEFA COACHES

The Football Academy ‘Elite Player Development’ has been set up to offer players the opportunity to continue their football development through professional coaching and education.

The Academy offers boys and girls a professional learning environment with the aim of developing young people both on and off the pitch. All the coaching staff are FA level 2, 3, qualified and have years of experience coaching and developing young player

Grass Roots

Grassroots football is a fundamental part of any player’s development. From an early age, players not only develop a love and understanding of the games, but also foster many of the necessary skills and attributes that are essential in higher-level football.

Our Coaches

Our coaches work hard to ensure that they create a Fun Environment and engage all children for the whole coaching sessions they do in an elite environment. Our coaches work to structured devised programs, that emphasis on FUN, teamwork and communication and challenging coaching for boys and girls who are already at local clubs.

Elite Programs

Elite programs run in blocks of 6 weeks and provide an excellent coaching topics aspects of the game. Coaching sessions run for 60 minutes each week covering all aspects of our ethos and coaching philosophy

The Football Academy EPD’s
coaching philosophy

The Football Academy EPD’s coaching philosophy allows players to self-correct in their practices, also focusing on Long Term Player Development. Another key way of coaching is to allow young players to have more of the ball rolling at practices. Our coaches introduce a unique coaching style of self-discovery and Q&A’s, allowing young players to learn through education which enables them to manage themselves as players better, as they go through adolescence. It is of importance when coaching children bringing out the best in performance of their Technical, Physiological, Social and Physical ability

GIRLS PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

For Girls Aged 7+

The Football Academy welcome our new Girls only program, our aim is to give Girls’ the opportunity to be coached and develop their ability to play football in safe and secure environment.

The Football Academy Elite Development Program , this venture allows girls to enjoy quality coaching from qualified and experienced FA/UEFA coaches, and the potential of developing their skills as a footballer. These football activities run in 6 blocks a year and in term time and is in cohesion with its own academy curriculum . The curriculum progress players through stages, learning embedded skills along with enjoying small, sided games.
