ACTIVE PARENTS INTRODUCE THE ACTIVE TOTS’ PROGRAM AIMED AT AGES 1-5

ABOUT ACTIVE TOTS

Active parents introduce the active tots’ program that allows children to develop their physical fitness and mental agility. The program introduces child’s motor skills through activities using a multi sports equipment, while enhancing their self-esteem and confidence. also helps children learn numbers, the alphabet, colours, and body parts, and reinforces positive aspects of their personality. Perseverance, concentration, memory, and general cognitive abilities are also enhanced.

1-3 years of age

Once children are walking, they can begin to develop their physical skills further in the areas of coordination, balance, and agility. Using the basic skills of control and balance acquired during the early sessions, the children begin to progress rapidly, applying motor skills they have already developed to fundamentals of throwing and handling equipment.

3-5 years of age

Activities for this age group are centred around fundamental movements of agility, balance and coordination skills control and coordination skills. Children learn more challenging commands and develop good habits such as holding their head up while running, jumping and progress into a combination of different movements. Throwing and catching are introduced.
